CRUX is a legendary blackened thrash metal band from Brno – Ostrava, Czech Republic from the 90s. Formed by Blackosh (Vocal, Guitar/ex-ROOT, MASTER’S HAMMER, BLACKOSH, NIFELHEIM etc) and Roman (Vocal, Bass/ex-DENET). Soon after that, Evil (Drums) joined the band.
Their first demo “Řev smrti(Scream of Death)” is released in 1991. It’s absolutely masterpiece that features thrashing solid riffs and epic melodies, and black metal vocals.
After that, Jary Opiera(Guitar/DENET) joined, but Blackosh leave the band.
And “Terrific Warrior” is released in 1992. It was re-recorded version of “Řev smrti” demo, and without Blackosh in the band. But this album is a hidden masterpiece that makes “Řev smrti” demo sound more metallic, heavy and clear. But this was only cassette format and long out of print nowadays.
Darker Than Darkness Records discussed with Blackosh about the reissue. And we proudly announcing the officially reissue this two masterpieces in a CD! includes an interview with Blackosh, Original cassette cover art sticker and a logo sticker as bonus. Fully remastered and limited edition of 500 copies. Also, 2 songs of the new re-recordings in 2025 as exclusive bonus tracks!
